Job Summary
Manages one or more short-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes. Applies project management principles, tools, and techniques under time constraints, shifting priorities, and making decisions with support from leadership and/or Senior Project Manager. Collaborates with stakeholders to develop plans, budgets, and resources, directs activities, and determines deliverables. Supports simple to moderately complex transmission/distribution projects, including design approvals, regulatory filings, and safety documentation. Facilitates environmental permits and right-of-way access, coordinates with local/state agencies, and ensures safety for ground crews and energized equipment. Communicates effectively to build positive working relationships across multiple parties and travels to project sites up to 50% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or project support
- Skilled in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
