Job Summary
Associate Project Manager- Construction at Yunex Traffic supports project coordination and administration for construction projects, coordinating daily activities with field staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants; maintaining contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes; preparing progress reports and stakeholder communications; tracking subcontractor performance; ensuring compliance with contracts and customer specifications; organizing project meetings; supporting audits and closeout documentation; scheduling with Microsoft Project, creating WBS, performing critical path analysis, and integrating subcontractor schedules; assisting with cost tracking, pay estimates, and change orders; and applying strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage scope, schedule, and budget.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience managing projects in a construction enviroment
- Minimum five years of years experience in constuction ideally in traffic or highway construction
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project (required)
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Working knowledge of construction processes, documents, and terminology
- Familiarity with TXDOT specifications and procedures (preferred)
- Ability to analyze schedules, identify critical path impacts, and adjust plans accordingly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach
