Job Summary
Associate Project Manager for Commercial Millwork responsible for managing smaller projects through the full project lifecycle, including developing customer relationships, budgets, schedules and project documentation; coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, engineering, manufacturing and installation to ensure contract compliance and project cost management; traveling to job sites to verify scope and gather field dimensions; assisting Senior Project Managers on larger projects; maintaining quotes and change orders, and communicating scope discrepancies to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2+ years’ experience with custom commercial millwork
- 1-2 years minimum project management experience in custom residential or commercial millwork
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction and woodworking, design, manufacturing and installation services and operations
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2+ years’ experience with custom commercial millwork
- 1-2 years minimum project management experience in custom residential or commercial millwork
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction and woodworking, design, manufacturing and installation services and operations
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Cloud Based File Sharing
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
- Experience with Innergy, Bluebeam or similar software is preferred, but not required
