Job Summary
Conduct technical energy and decarbonization analysis, including asset-level and desktop portfolio assessments, to support building performance standard compliance efforts across the US. Collaborate with clients to develop collaborative decarbonization targets, perform research, and deliver reports communicating technical details for corporate occupier and owner/investor portfolios. Support the development of technical solutions for sustainability consulting services by refining data management processes and identifying applicable third-party tools. This role requires 1-3 years of experience in real estate sustainability and energy analysis, with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $95,000 USD annually. Positions are available in Atlanta, Bellevue, Chicago, Irvine, New York, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, and Washington, DC.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in real estate sustainability, energy/engineering analysis, and/or decarbonization/energy efficiency
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- Understanding of building design, construction, and operations across multiple real estate asset types
- Previous experience with site visits and client engagement
- Possess strong analytical and creative critical thinking skills
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- An excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering, sustainability management or real estate
- Demonstrated experience in technical data analysis and/or engineering delivery, client engagement and presentation delivery
- CEM certification
