Job Summary
Associate Project Manager (Pharma Business Unit) supports active pharma and bioprocessing orders from initiation through on-time completion. Collaborates with the Pharma Account Manager to enforce customer rules of engagement, classify new requests and change orders into demand buckets, maintain the operating cadence (scorecards, status reports, change order logs), and protect on-time delivery. Coordinates job flow across Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations with internal and external stakeholders; builds and maintains project trackers and dashboards in Excel and ERP; surfaces risks and schedule slippage early; manages intake for new requests and change orders; maintains change order logs; tracks budget variance and commercial implications with the Pharma Account Manager; conducts weekly and monthly cadence with strategic customers; supports customer interactions including drawings approvals, FAT/SAT coordination; represents ADI professionally and maintains a positive, curious attitude. This role is designed for a recent graduate with strong aptitude, organization, and a desire to learn the pharma equipment and bioprocessing business. Requires onsite work in Ramsey, MN.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree required in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or project management preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, basic data analysis)
- Basic ability to read engineering drawings
- Exposure to ERP systems is a plus
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment (welding, fabrication, or control panel manufacturing) is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; client-facing experience beneficial
- Detail-oriented, organized, fast learner, self-motivated; able to juggle multiple priorities
- Comfortable working onsite full-time in a manufacturing environment in Ramsey, MN
