Associate Professor/Professor - Artificial Intelligence

Full-time tenure-stream Associate Professor or Professor position in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Toronto's Department of Computer Science, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027. Eligible to be named the Hinton Chair in Artificial Intelligence (endowed chair) for a five-year term renewable after a favourable review. The successful candidate will sustain and lead an externally funded research program, contribute to undergraduate and graduate programs, and participate in service and leadership within the academic community. Evidence of excellence in research and teaching through publications, research statements, conference presentations, awards, and strong referees is required. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, with a salary range exceeding $200,000 CAD per annum.
