Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care, including non-surgical treatment options, while examining, diagnosing, and treating diseases and injuries in orthopaedics and hand surgery. Prescribe courses of treatment, perform required surgery, and provide outpatient and hospital consultation services. Supervise medical units as provided by law, execute disease prevention programs, and maintain historical records documenting symptoms, medications, and treatment events. Maintain CME units per Board requirements and accept ownership for adding value to job accomplishments within the University of Miami Health System.
