Job Summary
Conduct outpatient and inpatient attending duties for the Division of Medical Oncology, managing patient care for malignancies and solid tumors. Hold clinic sessions across Sylvester's clinical practice sites and participate in departmental academic activities and meetings. Lead clinical and translational trials as a principal investigator, expanding the cancer center's trial portfolio. Write and submit scientific papers, abstracts, and grant proposals while exploring research collaborations within and outside the university.
Required Qualifications
- demonstrated track record of excellence in patient care
- demonstrated track record of excellence in research
- demonstrated track record of excellence in peer-reviewed publications
- potential to serve as principal investigator of cutting-edge clinical trials
- National recognition and/or experience in the development of clinical trials
- experience in the development of investigator initiated trials
- experience in the emerging area of personalized medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and/or Oncology
- Active or eligibility to obtain a Florida Medical License
