Job Summary
Lead the development and expansion of the Structural Heart Disease program within the University of Miami Cardiovascular Division, directing clinical, educational, and research activities; oversee patient consultations and invasive procedures in the Cath Lab; mentor medical students, residents, and fellows; foster interdepartmental collaboration to advance clinical protocols, education, and scholarly work; ensure regulatory and quality standards alignment while driving program growth and sustainability. Requires an MD/DO, board certification in Cardiology with Structural Heart Disease expertise, proven leadership in an academic/research setting, and Florida licensure eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Cardiology with specialized training in Structural Heart Disease
- Leadership experience in healthcare setting (academic or research-focused preferred)
- Strong record of academic publications and research activity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Florida
