Job Summary
Provide strategic leadership for the Structural Heart Disease program, ensuring high-quality patient care, education, and research delivery. Oversee clinical activities including patient consultations, outpatient care, and invasive procedures within the Cath Lab. Foster collaborative relationships to enhance patient outcomes and develop innovative treatment protocols. Lead research endeavors by facilitating new treatment modalities, clinical trials, and academic publications. Spearhead educational initiatives through mentoring, teaching, and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows. Collaborate with administrative leadership to ensure compliance with institutional, regulatory, and quality assurance standards while driving program growth.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Cardiology with specialized training and expertise in Structural Heart Disease
- Proven leadership experience within a healthcare setting, preferably in an academic or research-focused environment
- Strong record of academic accomplishments, including publications, research grants, and active participation in scholarly activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with diverse stakeholders
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Florida
