Job Summary
Educate nursing (or LPN) students per prescribed program curriculum and coordinate departmental initiatives to support the Rural Health Transformation Grant. Teach assigned RN nursing program courses in classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical/field settings; develop instructional materials; monitor student progress; provide advising; supervise student learning activities; collaborate with department faculty to develop programs; manage educational resources; participate in recruitment/retention activities; engage in professional activities related to nursing education; stay current with pedagogical and technological advances; comply with policies and regulations; attend nursing faculty meetings; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university with a major study in the nursing field.
- Possession of a Master’s degree in Education shall require twelve (12) graduate credits in a subject area closely related to the teaching assignment and a Bachelor’s degree in a Nursing.
- Current or active Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire; must meet continuing education requirements to maintain licensure.
- Five (5) years of teaching experience in Nursing, or five (5) years of business or industry experience directly related to Nursing.
