Job Summary
Lead high-quality research aligned with the School's strengths to attract competitive funding and deliver meaningful impact for healthcare policy and practice. Convene undergraduate and postgraduate nursing courses to create engaging, student-centred learning experiences while supervising and mentoring Honours and HDR students. Provide academic leadership through program coordination, curriculum innovation, and strategic direction, building collaborations with academic, industry, and healthcare partners. This full-time position is based at Griffith University Gold Coast or Brisbane South, with a base salary of $172,686 to $190,248 per annum plus 17% superannuation. PhD in Nursing with unrestricted registration and an established research track record are required.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a PhD in Nursing or a related discipline
- Unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
- Established research track record, including publication in high quality peer reviewed journals
- Success in securing competitive research funding
- Evidence of research impact at a national and/or international level
- Strong record of teaching excellence in higher education
- Experience in curriculum design
- Experience in course convening
- Experience in program coordination
- Experience in the delivery of innovative, evidence-based learning experiences
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor Honours and Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates to successful completion
- Contribution to the development of a vibrant research culture
