Job Summary
Lead high-quality research aligned with the School's strengths, secure competitive funding, and deliver impact for healthcare policy and communities. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate nursing courses while supervising and mentoring Honours and Higher Degree Research students to foster the next generation of scholars. Provide academic leadership through program coordination, curriculum innovation, and strategic direction. Build collaborations with academic, industry, and healthcare partners to enhance research impact and elevate the School's reputation. This full-time position is based at Griffith University Gold Coast or Brisbane South, with potential cross-site requirements. Salary ranges from $172,686 to $190,248 per annum plus superannuation, with start-up funds and relocation support available. VISA sponsorship is offered to the successful candidate.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a PhD in Nursing or a related discipline
- Unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
- Established research track record, including publication in high quality peer reviewed journals
- Success in securing competitive research funding
- Evidence of research impact at a national and/or international level
- Strong record of teaching excellence in higher education
- Experience in curriculum design
- Experience in course convening
- Experience in program coordination
- Experience in the delivery of innovative, evidence-based learning experiences
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor Honours and Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates to successful completion
- Contribution to the development of a vibrant research culture
