Job Summary
Analyze client business needs and translate requirements into simpler non-tech language for technical teams. Collaborate with business analysts to create innovative, purpose-built technologies that improve health outcomes. Help document systems requirements and build conceptual data and process models to quantify system change impacts. Verify client requirements are integrated into system design by executing and analyzing basic test case scenarios. Participate in technical reviews and inspections with senior leaders to ensure final products meet expectations. Expand technical skills in software applications such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Visio. This fully remote Associate Professional Business Analyst role at Gainwell supports the healthcare mission by delivering better services to vulnerable community members.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of the software development life cycle
- Basic understanding of software such as Microsoft Office
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and triage bugs and defects
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in a professional work environment
- Interest in working at the intersection of the 'technical' and 'non-technical' and learning more about business processes and re-engineering
- Ability to work in a team environment with other professionals
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation
