Job Summary
Associate Professional Business Analyst at Gainwell, fully remote opportunity with EST/CST time zone. Contribute to healthcare technology projects by analyzing business needs, translating requirements for technical teams, documenting systems and processes, building basic data/process models, and validating designs through test scenarios. Collaborate with a team of analysts to recommend solutions, participate in technical reviews with senior leaders, and expand skills in Excel, SQL, and Visio. The role emphasizes translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements, ensuring client requirements are reflected in the system design, and growing expertise through leadership and development academies. Requires foundational SDLC knowledge, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong problem-solving and communication skills, teamwork, and a interest in blending technical and business process knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and software such as Microsoft Office
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and triage bugs and defects
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in a professional work environment
- Interest in working at the intersection of the ‘technical’ and ‘non-technical’ and learning more about business processes and re-engineering
