Job Summary
Configure, install, and maintain computer systems hardware and software while monitoring performance to identify issues. Support backup procedures, restoration, and security for application and database servers, documenting all troubleshooting activities and logs. Provide operational support for peripheral equipment and assist in various IT projects as needed. Liaise with team members to understand user requirements and deliver basic IT support to end-users. Follow established protocols for system updates and maintenance while receiving guidance from senior team members.
Required Qualifications
- Basic IT Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental IT concepts, systems, and terminology
- Hardware Installation: Skills in setting up computer hardware and peripheral devices
- Software Maintenance: Ability to assist in software installations and updates
- Problem-Solving: Capability to identify and address basic technical issues
- Documentation: Aptitude for maintaining logs and documenting procedures
- Communication: Basic skills in communicating technical information to users
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work with team members and follow their guidance
- Basic Security Practices: Awareness of fundamental security measures and protocols
- Requires basic knowledge of theories, principles and concepts within a technical discipline
