Associate Production Scientist - 3rd shift

Associate Production Scientist on 3rd shift responsible for independently setting up equipment to manufacture chemical compounds, executing analytical testing, ensuring end-to-end quality and thorough documentation, rechecking results and escalating issues, leading a small production group during supervisor absences, assisting with workforce scheduling, mentoring new hires and cross-training, maintaining calibration logs and training records, serving on continuous improvement committees focused on safety, quality, inventory, output and cost reduction, and reviewing established protocols to suggest proactive changes. Hours are 10:00pm-6:30am, Sunday-Thursday. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or life sciences and 1+ year of lab experience in chemical production. Preferred qualifications include experience with ISO and quality systems, reading protocols, problem solving and equipment troubleshooting, strong communication skills, and mechanical/technical aptitude. Salary range is $27.00/hr to $48.00/hr, with benefits including health insurance and PTO.
