Job Summary
Load and unload donated goods using a hand truck, sort textiles at a sufficient pace, and distribute items for processing, shipping, or storage. Perform basic record keeping, sort and price garments and hard lines, and tag products per guidelines. Maintain clean aisles, remove obstructions, and ensure work areas remain organized while adhering to loss prevention and inventory control procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting donors, issuing receipts, and responding to inquiries in a friendly manner. Safeguard team members and property by reporting any observed theft or unethical behavior immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year minimum experience working successfully in retail customer service oriented environment
- Ability to bend, lift, grasp and move continuously through the day
- Two-person lifting of some heavy objects may be required
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage
- Must be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business
