Job Summary
Associate Product Owner, Medicaid Intake Operations focusing on claims intake and data processing solutions. Partner with Product Managers and senior Product Owners to support development and execution of product vision and roadmap; translate business priorities into clearly defined features, user stories, and acceptance criteria; assist with backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint planning in coordination with agile teams; act as a liaison between business and IT to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively; participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives); contribute to documentation, requirements traceability, and testing validation; ensure alignment to regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements relevant to claims and data processing; growth opportunities into full Product Owner or Product Manager roles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2–5 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, project management, or related role
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (business, IT, operations)
- Familiarity with healthcare, claims processing, EDI transactions, or related domains
- Understanding of data flows, integration processes, or claims intake workflows
- Exposure to regulatory/compliance-driven environments
