Job Summary
Analyze MarTech business problems, document functional and technical specifications for loyalty, CRM, and lifecycle messaging, and support the day-to-day operation and optimization of marketing technology platforms. Gather requirements from stakeholders including retention leaders, retail marketing teams, and development groups to align technological solutions with business goals for customer retention and store activation initiatives. Facilitate communication across marketing, retail, and technical teams to drive the build, implementation, and rollout of MarTech features while managing change activities for tools like Hightouch and Klayvio. Create clear documentation for process flows, user stories, and activation playbooks to guide digital and in-store experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Information Systems) or equivalent years of experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, marketing technology analyst, or in a related role (internship experience considered)
- Analytical skills with the ability to translate MarTech data into actionable insights
- Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., process mapping, requirements elicitation, data analysis)
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment under the direction of senior team members
- Interest in and willingness to learn MarTech tools and platforms (e.g., Hightouch, Klayvio, loyalty platforms, CDPs)
- Experience or coursework in translating business requirements into user stories or technical specifications
- Familiarity with digital marketing, retention and lifecycle marketing, loyalty programs, personalization, and customer experience best practices
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to help identify and address optimization opportunities
- Willingness to support change management activities
- Interest in the retail sector, including familiarity with or curiosity about retail technology ecosystems, particularly MarTech platforms such as High touch, Iterable, and other relevant tools used in retail marketing, loyalty, customer engagement, and store activation/event execution strategies
