Job Summary
The Associate Product Manager (APM) supports disciplined product planning and management of hardware solutions to achieve business objectives. Through Voice of the Customer research, competitive analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with HW/SW teams, the APM develops and executes a compelling product vision and portfolio, delivering products with strong customer value and meeting financial objectives. Responsibilities include interfacing with customers, sales, and field teams to identify and validate product requirements; conducting market and competitive analysis; leading cross-functional teams to commercialize new products via ERP systems; collaborating with marketing and vertical teams to create timely reports; developing product and market requirements documents; and driving initiatives to simplify how customers do business with Entrust. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in engineering, business analysis, or product management, plus demonstrated analytical ability and technical acumen. Preferred qualifications include MBA or MS in related fields and ability to thrive in a fast-paced B2B environment. This is a hybrid role requiring three days/week in Shakopee, MN. Compensation range: $93,341-$136,901 per year, with potential incentives and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of engineering, business analysis, or product management experience
- Demonstrated analytical experience including market research/analysis and competitive intelligence
- Demonstrated technical acumen to engage with development, customer support, and service operations teams
- Functional understanding and experience of both hardware and software technologies and solutions
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage on day-to-day tasks and projects with proper direction provided
- Demonstrated ability to write, defend and execute on findings
- Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
