Job Summary
Own end-to-end release of new product features by managing the backlog, gathering user feedback, and documenting requirements for specs and wireframes. Coordinate with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure clear communication of timelines, while supporting testing efforts and tracking basic product metrics. Assist in writing product documentation and support customer discovery to suggest refinements based on insights. Learn and grow as a domain expert in tenant screening, rent reporting, and fintech/proptech trends. Based in Austin, this role reports directly to the Senior Product Manager with regular exposure to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience, ideally with some in a product or adjacent role (e.g. operations, analytics, project management, data analytics)
- A passion for product management and eagerness to learn
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-directed and ability to operate amidst ambiguity
- A bias toward action and a willingness to learn quickly
- Solid communication skills (both written and verbal), including basic documentation and note-taking
- A collaborative attitude and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and operations
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Figma, Jira, and Posthog
- Ability to utilize SQL for creating queries
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts such as APIs, databases, and relationship between frontend and backend development
