Associate Product Manager

Job Summary

Evaluate product lifecycle opportunities, including launches, enhancements, and end-of-life planning, while analyzing market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to inform portfolio decisions. Develop business cases, forecasts, and recommendations that support commercialization activities, resource prioritization, and product investments. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Scientific, and Technical teams to facilitate New Product Development and align on project status and risks. Monitor product performance metrics, prepare analyses, and identify improvements to management processes and tools. Work in a hybrid environment (4 days/week onsite) in Gaithersburg, MD or Manassas, VA.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of experience
  • equivalent experience (Master's degree and 0 years, or HS Diploma and 6 years)
  • Ability to support departmental or organizational objectives by applying specialized skills and knowledge to specific tasks or projects with sound judgment, prioritization, and autonomy
  • Experience analyzing customer, market, competitive, operational, and business information to support product and portfolio decisions
  • Experience developing business cases, analyses, forecasts, recommendations, product documentation, training materials, sales enablement tools, or product content
  • Ability to assess customer insights, Voice of Customer feedback, market intelligence, and product-related issues to recommend corrective or improvement actions
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Scientific, or Technical teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding or prior experience in life science industry preferred
  • Experience supporting commercialization, launch planning, pricing, product positioning, or customer adoption strategies preferred
  • Experience participating in customer meetings, conferences, webinars, or other market-facing activities preferred
