Associate Product Designer- Business Banking

Job Summary
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to design intuitive digital experiences for Business Banking customers. Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes that clearly communicate design intent, while contributing to product features and larger customer journeys under senior guidance. Participate in customer interviews, usability testing, and research activities to validate design decisions, then produce clear specifications for engineering implementation. Apply customer insights and usability best practices to help identify usability issues and opportunities for continuous improvement across existing experiences. Use and contribute to the company's design system to maintain consistency, incorporating feedback from design critiques and workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or a related field
- A portfolio demonstrating thoughtful problem solving, user-centered design, and strong visual and interaction design fundamentals
- Familiarity with Figma, including creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and working within shared component libraries
- Understanding of UX principles, interaction design, visual hierarchy, information architecture, and usability best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to continuously learn through feedback and mentorship
- Ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints when approaching design problems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to financial services, fintech, banking, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based design
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
- Experience conducting or supporting usability testing or customer research
- Experience collaborating with product managers and software engineers in an Agile environment
