Job Summary
Associate Producer for Fox & Friends responsible for pitching unique guests, stories and segments; conducting in-depth research; writing stories, guest intros, teases, and banners; selecting sound, video clips, and graphics to help tell a story; and collaborating with a team under deadlines. Requires a strong knowledge of news, politics, and current events, ability to work weekends/late nights, and experience in a fast-paced TV production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of prior TV (or similar) experience
- Strong knowledge of and passion for news, politics, and current events
- Familiarity with influencers, commentators, and opinion-makers
- Ability to work collaboratively under deadlines
- Ability to work weekends and late nights
- Willingness to listen, learn, and grow from constructive criticism
