Job Summary
Associate Producer manages workflow within a small, fast-moving team for digital video content. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders, gathering and licensing video/sound assets, coordinating with graphics artists, assisting with live shots and talent logistics, ensuring assets pass SOP workflows with copy desk, fact check, and legal reviews, obtaining signed releases for appearances and stock footage, coordinating with postproduction, supporting editorial needs with research and content development, creating and maintaining digital content under tight deadlines, contributing to writing and idea development, potentially leading smaller production teams, managing content lifecycle from release to updates, and delivering final assets with QC checks and platform-ready metadata. Requires solid editorial judgment, at least 3 years in digital production, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to produce/edit video for online presentation, and a college degree in communications, journalism, or equivalent experience. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere or similar editing system and knowledge of SEO/social publishing is strongly desired.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in communications, journalism, or equivalent work experience
- Experience: at least 3 years in a digital production environment
- Strong editorial judgment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere or similar editing system
- Experience with SEO and Social Media publishing is strongly desired
