Job Summary
Move material between the warehouse and process suites, operate batch reactors, filters, dryers, and pumps, and assist in equipment and facility maintenance for GMP areas. Collaborate with scientific staff to complete chemistry projects while handling hazardous materials and wastes in compliance with safety protocols. Recognize and respond to emergency situations involving hazardous substances, completing required training within six months of assuming duty and annually thereafter. This entry-level role supports Process Technicians at the GMP Kilo and Pilot Plant, focusing on learning and assisting in chemical processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years' experience in a chemical manufacturing plant preferred
