Job Summary
Conduct due diligence on external investment managers and prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess strategies and risk exposures. Maintain direct engagement with existing and prospective managers while monitoring performance and organizational changes. Prepare and present manager recommendations, asset class reviews, and client meeting materials to the Investment Committee and external stakeholders. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to support manager diligence and onboarding. Guide and develop investment analysts by providing direction and performance feedback. Requires 4-6 years of experience in private markets investing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to travel 20-30%.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in private markets investing, manager research, or fund selection
- Strong knowledge of private equity, real estate, and capital markets
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with strong investment acumen
- Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills for presenting investment ideas and research
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment while working independently when needed
- Strong organizational skills
- High integrity, professional judgment, and analytical curiosity
- Undergraduate degree required (Finance, Economics, or Mathematics preferred)
- Ability to travel 20-30%
- Ability to be in the Arlington, VA office Tuesday – Thursday each week
