Job Summary

Assist in targeting and evaluating new investment opportunities by performing financial modelling, company research, and due diligence across sectors. Build tax, accounting, and debt schedules into detailed asset models while assessing risks, analyzing cash flows, and conducting precedent transaction and market comparisons. Translate diligence findings into model inputs and prepare high-quality investment committee presentation materials. Coordinate with operational teams and advisors to progress due diligence and asset management analysis, contributing to special projects as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business, accounting or a related discipline
  • Typically two to three years of relevant investment banking experience
  • Strong transaction execution experience across M&A, financial analysis, valuation and corporate finance
  • Fluency in English
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, research and due diligence capabilities
  • Sound investment judgement and the ability to identify key commercial drivers, risks and opportunities
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and able to learn independently in a lean team with selective deal flow
  • Agile and willing to work across geographies, offices and shared priorities within an integrated global team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex investment matters clearly and concisely
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Collaborative, low-ego and able to build effective relationships with colleagues, advisers and management teams across cultures and seniority levels
  • Comfortable taking ownership, acting with urgency and contributing meaningfully from an early stage
  • Professional, positive and committed to the highest standards of integrity

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience and training gained in a major international financial market
  • Experience supporting global funds or working within an integrated global investment platform
  • Professional Korean language capability
  • Japanese language capability
