Job Summary
Associate, Private Banking Fall 2026 Co-op supports Private Banking Advisors by delivering administrative and sales support, assisting clients with transactional banking needs, and addressing inquiries related to lending, borrowing, investing, and commercial lending. Responsibilities include client service, processing wires and payments, supporting portfolio administration, coordinating communications for credit renewals and maturities, and assisting with marketing and client events. Requires current enrollment in post-secondary education with the ability to return to full-time studies; may involve a mix of on-site and remote work to be discussed at interview; strong focus on accuracy, compliance with bank policies, and MS Office proficiency. Location: Halifax, NS, Canada; term: Fall 2026 (Sept–Dec 2026); temporary/contract term with on-site presence in Halifax.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at location
- Ability to complete attribute-based assessments and other skills tests (e.g., MS Office, French proficiency)
- Strong client service and administrative capabilities
- Familiarity with lending, investing, and banking operations (loan, mortgage, investments) is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office and accurate data/document processing
