Job Summary
Drive remediation of findings, shift-left opportunities, and observations through collaboration with departments and second and third lines of defense. Develop and implement GRC standardized, risk-based remediation processes, track milestones, and manage evidence collection to meet quality standards. Lead end-to-end GRC change management processes across the organization, develop frameworks, and facilitate strategic planning aligned with organizational objectives. Conduct process reviews to identify optimization opportunities, maintain accurate documentation mapping in Archer and PolicyTech systems, and execute Management Self-Testing for control deficiencies. Advise departments on remediation matters, manage the findings lifecycle, and mentor team members to support the expansion of the control infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously at various priority levels
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, cross-functionally and with various levels of seniority
- Strong administrative and interpersonal skills, including excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience providing value-added recommendations to improve and optimize inefficiencies
- Demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills including data analytics and reporting
- Experience with internal controls, risk assessment strategies, audit techniques, and project management
- Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with Governance and Risk & Compliance Software such as Archer
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
- Experience with a Learning Management System such as Workday Learning
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience responding to and interacting with regulatory agencies
- Experience with exam management
- Experience with the development of policies and procedures
- Compliance experience including executing a compliance or controls testing program
- Knowledge of rules and regulations for which OCC is subject to adherence
- Strong collaboration, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
