Associate Principal Engineer

Build and maintain modular integrations between Saviynt and third-party Tech/Cloud partners using REST APIs, SOAP, and various scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript). Assist in mapping data schemas between disparate systems to ensure seamless identity and governance workflows. Debug and resolve issues within existing integration packages to ensure high performance in production. Architect and maintain demo environments and multi-tenant sandbox instances for partner developers and internal stakeholders. Automate provisioning of test data and configuration sets to enable repeatable, clean-slate testing for new integration features. Write clean, well-documented code and maintain API documentation and Getting Started guides for external developers. Support the Technical Validation phase with sample code and boilerplate templates for partners. Collaborate with Product and Senior Engineering to translate high-level integration requirements into tasks and tickets (Jira). Provide feedback to Core Engineering on API limitations or performance bottlenecks discovered during partner implementations. Requires 8+ years of professional experience in software development or a technical support/implementation role, ideally within cybersecurity or SaaS. Foundational knowledge of IAM concepts (IGA, Privileged Access, or Identity Governance) and experience with Integration Protocols (REST, JSON, SCIM; OAuth, SAML, LDAP). Proficiency in coding with Java, Python, or JavaScript; strong debugging and API analysis skills; clear communication to senior engineers and stakeholders; and a collaborative, agile work style. Also expects hands-on familiarity with Saviynt or similar IGA platforms, cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), security frameworks (SOC2, NIST), and tooling (Git, SQL). This position requires approximately 10% travel.
