Associate Principal Engineer, AI Architect

Job Summary
Understand client business use cases and convert them into technical designs for AI-powered applications using Python, React, and Generative AI. Own the architecture and technical vision for scalable, secure backend platforms handling LLM inference, RAG pipelines, and agent-based orchestration. Lead design and implementation of complex GenAI workflows, establish engineering standards for prompt design and observability, and drive platformization through reusable SDKs and frameworks. Partner with product, design, and business leaders to translate strategic objectives into scalable solutions, while reviewing critical designs, unblocking teams, and ensuring enterprise readiness for security and governance. Conduct POCs to validate technologies and define guidelines for non-functional requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Total experience 9+ years
- experience in software engineering
- strong depth in Python
- proven experience architecting and delivering production-grade Generative AI applications at scale
- deep understanding of LLM integration patterns, RAG systems, and AI-driven UX design
- strong system design skills across backend, frontend, and AI infrastructure layers
- experience defining technical strategy and influencing architecture across teams or pods
- hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and distributed systems
- strong grasp of security, privacy, and governance considerations for enterprise AI
- ability to translate ambiguous business problems into durable technical architectures
- excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and technical leadership
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
