Job Summary
Associate Principal, Data Analytics Engineering - Finance Domain role focused on designing and implementing technical solutions to automate and monitor compliance-related data workflows. Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining automated data extraction and processing pipelines, creating dashboards and monitoring solutions for management, Board, and regulators, and supporting analytics framework through code review, testing, documentation, and technical writing. Key tools and skills include SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), R or MATLAB, REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), CI/CD and DevOps principles, data modeling and data architecture, experience with Tableau or similar dashboarding tools, workflow orchestration (Airflow, Alteryx, Power BI), Git and Agile methodology, and exposure to Generative AI tools. The role requires 3-5 years of experience (plus 2+ years in financial services preferred), in-person interview in Chicago, and is a permanent, full-time position in Chicago with hybrid work arrangements. Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder and willing to work onsite 3 days a week.
Required Qualifications
- Must come from financial services industry
- Strong programming skills in data analytics, data extraction, manipulation, and processing
- Advanced SQL skills with complex query writing
- Experience with REST APIs and data extraction
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
- Dashboarding experience (Tableau or similar tools)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles
- Knowledge of data architecture and data modeling
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas/Numpy), R, or MATLAB
- Experience with workflow/orchestration tools (Airflow, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.)
- Experience with Git and Agile methodology
- Exposure to Agentic AI / Generative AI tools (preferred)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Must come from financial services industry
- Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Must be open for in-person interview in Chicago
- Must be willing to work 3 days per week onsite in Chicago office
- Permanent (no C2C / contract roles)
