Job Summary
Associate Principal (Analytics focus) at IQVIA leads and manages multiple engagements for life sciences clients in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector, delivering on-time and on-budget solutions. Responsibilities include directing project teams, shaping strategic, technological and operational approaches, serving as principal client contact, ensuring high client satisfaction, developing intellectual property for future engagements, supporting bid/proposal activities, identifying follow-on work and new leads, guiding delivery teams, and coaching junior staff. The role emphasizes leadership, client engagement with VP+ stakeholders, and delivering world-class analytics and commercial strategy. Requirements include 7-10 years in insights/analytics in pharma/healthcare, go-to-market and commercial analytics experience, multi-country project leadership, strong written and verbal communication, ability to develop senior-level relationships, and travel flexibility (<25%). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; graduate degree or MBA is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 7-10 years of professional experience in insights and analytics within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry
- experience in Go-to-market/commercial strategy (sales force effectiveness, segmentation and targeting, field force sizing, launch excellence, promotional effectiveness, commercial analytics)
- experience in multi-country strategic consulting engagements with project management/leadership
- strong communication and presentation skills; ability to lead meetings and workshops
- ability to develop client relationships with senior-level managers and executives
- ability to contribute to business development through leads and proposals
- willingness and ability to travel (<25%)
- fluency in English
