Job Summary
Associate Principal – AI Consulting for Life Sciences focuses on selling and delivering AI-driven projects in Pharma R&D, leading day-to-day delivery of clinical development simulation using RWD/omics, coordinating cross-functional teams, and shaping offerings in IQVIA’s AI Life Sciences practice. Responsibilities include client engagement, opportunity shaping, proposal development, and translating AI visions into practical, high-value solutions; lead hands-on delivery of AI/ML projects; mentor junior consultants; contribute to capability building and thought leadership; and collaborate with data scientists, engineers, clinicians, and partners to advance foundation-model initiatives and scalable AI solutions in clinical development.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years in Consulting, AI, Data Science, or Digital Transformation
- Strong experience delivering complex analytics or AI-driven projects in client settings
- Solid understanding of AI/ML techniques (supervised, unsupervised, generative AI, LLMs, agentic AI)
- Life Sciences expertise—ideally within Pharma R&D, Clinical Trials, or Clinical Operations
- Experience engaging senior client stakeholders and supporting strategic discussions
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong ownership mindset and bias toward action
