Job Summary
Conduct daily market coverage of EMEA Chemicals, including price assessments, trend commentaries, news stories, podcasts, and infographics. Research new markets, drive methodology projects, and correspond with significant market participants to gather information and build relationships. Represent the company at industry events across the region and launch new price assessments as required. Produce content that serves as a reference point for buyers and sellers while ensuring Platts' purpose is understood across the market.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of role types and personalities, internally and externally
- Confidence with networking and developing business relationships
- Good numeracy skills including confidence using Excel
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
Desired Qualifications
- A developed interest in commodity markets and/or the chemicals industry
- Fluency in other European languages would be an advantage, particularly Turkish
- Strong public speaking/presentational skills
