Job Summary
Conduct full-scope podiatry services including surgery, sports medicine, wound care, diabetic foot care, DME, orthotics, and routine foot care within a single clinical location. Manage a diverse patient base across all age groups using an evidence-based approach that combines conservative and surgical treatments when medically appropriate. Develop subspecialty interests over time while maintaining autonomy in clinical decision-making and practice growth. This opportunity is designed for surgically trained DPMs with two or more years of post-residency experience seeking a long-term, physician-led private practice in Algonquin, Illinois. The role offers direct access to ownership, mentorship, and an uncapped collections-based incentive model with six-figure base compensation and tiered bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited school of podiatry
- Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program
- Current active license as a Podiatrist in the State of Illinois, or ability to obtain Illinois licensure promptly
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of post-residency clinical experience
- Surgically trained, with rearfoot and ankle training preferred
- Well-rounded clinically and appreciative of all aspects of podiatric care
- Comfortable with surgical, medical, wound care, diabetic foot care, sports medicine, DME, orthotics, nail/skin/dermatologic conditions, and routine podiatric care
- Coachable, confident, professional, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills with patients, staff, referring providers, and leadership
- Committed to patient-centered care, accurate documentation, and long-term practice growth
- Strong recent graduates may be considered if they demonstrate maturity, clinical confidence, coachability, and clear long-term alignment with private practice growth
