Job Summary
Associate Plastic Technician, 2nd Shift, performs preventive maintenance and visual inspections of machinery, runs diagnostic tests with diagnostic tools, calibrates sensors and gauges, replaces parts, and conducts moderate repairs. Documents maintenance activities, assists with projects involving installation or relocation of equipment, reviews blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs, and adheres to safety procedures while coordinating with junior mechanics as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- 2-4 years of maintenance experience
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Skill in using diagnostic tools
- Troubleshooting ability to identify root causes
- Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, P&IDs
- Accurate documentation of repairs and parts
- Capability to support equipment installation/modification/relocation
- Good communication skills and safety/compliance orientation
