Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and analyze project activities and resources for Transmission Capital, Maintenance, and Distribution projects. Establish baselines for cost and schedule, monitor project status, and communicate resource loading with team members and management. Identify engineering and construction resources, resolve schedule conflicts, and expedite plan changes to meet project objectives. Evaluate forecasts to ensure desired results and develop alternative solutions for cost overruns and resource constraints. Coordinate with senior team members and stakeholders to implement recommendations for department resource solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent
- 18 months - five (5) years of project controls, planning and scheduling work experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail oriented
- Ability to understand goal-driven deliverables
- Ability to coordinate and implement the necessary actions to ensure that goals and targets are achieved
- Use appropriate interpersonal styles to communicate and collaborate with peers and management toward goal achievement
- Project scheduling experience
- Knowledge of Primavera
- Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Must be able to work emergency storm assignments as requires
- Must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed
- Must be able to travel to Eversource office locations, project sites and contractor locations
Desired Qualifications
- Primavera (5 or better)
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent is preferred
- Project scheduling experience and knowledge of Primavera (5 or better) preferred
- Experience: 18 months - five (5) years of project controls, planning and scheduling work experience using Primavera P6 preferred
