Job Summary
Plan, schedule, and manage Transmission, Maintenance, and Distribution projects across the Eversource portfolio by establishing, maintaining, and analyzing cost and schedule baselines. Monitor project activities and resources to identify constraints, communicate status updates, and advise leadership on schedule conflicts and resource reallocations. Assist in developing alternative solutions for resolving potential cost overruns and schedule delays while expediting plan changes to meet project objectives. This role requires working with internal and external engineering and construction teams to ensure adherence to established guidelines and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent
- Zero (0)- two (2) years of project controls, planning and scheduling work experience
- Project scheduling experience
- Knowledge of Primavera
- Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Must be able to work emergency storm assignments as required
- Must be able to work emergency situations to meet customers' needs
- Must be able to work outside of normal responsibilities, work hours and location during emergency assignments
Desired Qualifications
- Primavera (5 or better)
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent is preferred
- Zero (0)- two (2) years of project controls, planning and scheduling work experience using Primavera P6 preferred
