Job Summary
Own the outgoing Return-to-Vendor (RTV) process and process incoming customer returns to create manufacturing orders that keep production moving. Drive daily communication with the manufacturing floor to monitor Master Production Schedule aging and maintain build plans while flagging critical parts or issues. Build purchase requisitions, consolidate demand, and coordinate engineering changes with purchasing and production to ensure timely material disposition. Deliver planning reports and documentation for program office reviews and customer visits, while performing cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records. Work onsite in a 9/80 schedule in Melbourne, FL, requiring hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and proficiency with MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of MRP systems and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
- Solid experience in production planning and a background in project material management
- Understanding of core business processes and how planning, purchasing, and production interconnect
Desired Qualifications
- Experience processing Return-to-Vendor (RTV) or customer return transactions within an ERP/MRP system
- Prior exposure to Master Production Scheduling and purchase requisition processes
- Familiarity with engineering change coordination and material disposition
- Comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor alongside production teams
