Job Summary
Associate Planner, Direct role focused on empowering mass affluent clients through holistic financial planning and advice. Responsibilities include building and strengthening TD Wealth Financial Planning relationships, delivering sound retirement and investment planning advice, onboarding existing TDCT customers, driving client profitability and retention through proactive outreach, identifying goals and barriers, and delivering guidance via phone and digital platforms. Requires regulatory compliance, CIRO licensing within 6 months (if not licensed), bilingual English/French communication, and a client-centric, growth-oriented mindset. The role emphasizes relationship management, ability to refer clients to TD partners, and contributing to team objectives within a regulated financial services environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in banking services, with a track record of managing client relationships and providing tailored investment advice (preferred)
- Required to obtain Registered Representative (RR) licensing with the CIRO within 6 months of start date, if not currently licensed
- Financial planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning (IPF) required within 2 years in role
- Bilingualism (English and French) required to serve our clients in the community with English-speaking needs
