Job Summary
Provide access control and badging support for employees while managing web-based visitor management systems to ensure guests follow established security protocols. Assist staff and guests with inquiries, wayfinding, and access needs, monitoring key areas to report suspicious behavior and escalate urgent issues. Maintain clear communication with security officers and operations leadership to resolve issues professionally and stay calm during emergencies following established protocols. Work onsite in an open floorplan environment, with hours varying to include evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event periods.
Required Qualifications
- A proactive, friendly, safety-minded approach and genuine enthusiasm for excellent service to employees and guests
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure, with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools
- Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office
- Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods
- Able to move about the office and between floors throughout the day, remain alert and situationally aware for extended periods, and work after-hours when needs arise
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with access control systems, video management systems, and web-based visitor management systems is valued
- Games experience supporting an Olympic, Paralympic, or major multi-sport event
- Venue experience in a stadium, arena, campus, or large venue environment
- Familiarity with emergency response or safety protocols in a high-traffic setting (suggested)
