Job Summary
Produce high-quality interior and exterior media for residential, commercial, and industrial properties using professional-grade tools and cutting-edge gear. Create engaging videos, Matterport 3D walk-through tours, and gaussian splat drone views to showcase property features for stakeholders. Utilize time of day, season, and location expertise to capture compelling exterior media for suburbs, parks, and schools. Edit all photography and video in a timely fashion while maintaining professional communication with clients during scheduling and on-site interactions. Travel may be required up to a week per month, with occasional night and weekend work on a rotating roster.
Required Qualifications
- School Certificate (or equivalent qualification)
- 2+ years of professional real estate photography and videography experience, or recent completion of a photography-focused qualification
- Strong understanding of manual camera settings, composition, and lighting techniques
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro
- Experience using macOS and Microsoft Office
- A current CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL), or willingness to obtain one within six weeks of joining through CASA-approved training and certification
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 12 kg
- Must hold a current, valid Australian driver's licence and be able to hire a car for work travel
- Must be able to drive for up to 2 hours at a time, and work and drive outdoors in all seasons
- Occasional night and weekend work is required (rotating roster)
- A satisfactory Driving Record Check, showing responsible driving and compliance with road rules, is mandatory before starting
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a professional real estate photographer or in a similar role
- A portfolio showcasing a selection of real estate and lifestyle photography, including interior and exterior imagery; drone photography and videography are highly regarded
- Enjoys challenges of photographing buildings and suburbs, understands the challenges and works to find creative solutions
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to develop strong personal relationships with key contacts at assigned companies
- Flexible and adaptable with excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
- Used to working in fast-paced environment
- Experience of commercial drone photography is desirable
- Ability to capture and edit beautiful interior and exterior property videos and photography
- Full understanding of best practices for Architectural Photography, demonstrating artistic vision and creativity
