Job Summary
Produce high-quality interior and exterior media for residential, commercial, and industrial properties using professional-grade tools. Create engaging videos and Matterport 3D captures, including gaussian splat views via drone where possible. Edit all photography and video in a timely fashion while maintaining professional communication with clients during scheduling and on-site shoots. Utilize lighting, season, and location expertise to optimize shoots, with travel required up to a week per month. Occasional night and weekend work occurs on a rotating roster. This role supports Domain and CoStar Group in driving property transactions through market-leading content for millions of users.
Required Qualifications
- A School Certificate (or equivalent qualification)
- 2+ years of professional real estate photography and videography experience, or recent completion of a photography-focused qualification
- Strong understanding of manual camera settings, composition, and lighting techniques
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro
- Experience using macOS and Microsoft Office
- A current CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL), or willingness to obtain one within six weeks of joining through CASA-approved training and certification
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 12 kg
- Must hold a current, valid Australian driver's licence and be able to hire a car for work travel
- Must be able to drive for up to 2 hours at a time
- Must be able to work and drive outdoors in all seasons
- Occasional night and weekend work is required (rotating roster)
- A satisfactory Driving Record Check, showing responsible driving and compliance with road rules
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a professional real estate photographer or in a similar role
- A portfolio showcasing a selection of real estate and lifestyle photography, including interior and exterior imagery
- Drone photography and videography
- Enjoys challenges of photographing buildings and suburbs, understands the challenges and works to find creative solutions
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to develop strong personal relationships with key contacts at assigned companies
- Flexible and adaptable with excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
- Used to working in fast-paced environment
- Experience of commercial drone photography is desirable
- Ability to capture and edit beautiful interior and exterior property videos and photography
- Full understanding of best practices for Architectural Photography, demonstrating artistic vision and creativity
