Job Summary
Conduct daily operation and maintenance of large-scale universal solar and battery facilities in the Florida Panhandle Region. Serve as site safety manager ensuring personnel and equipment compliance with environmental regulations and permits. Perform preventive maintenance on solar panels, battery storage systems, and associated equipment while troubleshooting and undertaking corrective actions to resolve system issues. Utilize monitoring software to analyze performance data and generate reports on energy production and equipment status. Coordinate with supervisors, the Renewables Operation Control Center, OEMs, and vendors as required, including on-call duty for weekend and night outages. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
- Must be able to work weekends and nights
- Must be available for on-call
- Must be able to spend significant time in the field (outside)
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be highly motivated with a strong bias for action
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Previous PV solar and battery experience
