Job Summary
Associate, Personal CFO at Corient performs bookkeeping duties for high-net-worth clients, including vendor setup and management (W-9 and NDA), processing 1099s where applicable, recording journal entries for cash transfers, payroll, accruals, asset purchases, and capital improvements, reconciling bank/brokerage/credit card statements, maintaining client files, and providing ad hoc analysis and reporting. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2+ years of accounting experience with A/P, journal entries, and reconciliations; strong Excel skills; familiarity with Sage Intacct or QuickBooks Online preferred; emphasis on meticulous data entry, communication, and team collaboration; on-site role in San Diego, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2+ years’ accounting experience focusing on A/P, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations and Data Entry
- Strong proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups)
- Preferred experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, or similar accounting systems
