Job Summary
The Associate People Partner role provides strategic and operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle at Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. Serve as a trusted resource for colleagues and leaders on employee relations, onboarding, HR operations, talent processes, and People Function initiatives. Deliver Tier 1/2 HR support, ensure compliant execution of HR processes at site and regional levels, and partner with People Function Leaders on implementing the People Strategy. Manage workforce data, support onboarding/promotions/transfers/terminations/leaves, and contribute to policy development and process improvements. Lead training sessions, support learning and development programs, coordinate local deployment of programs (ASR, MPACT, EES), and assist recruitment/onboarding activities. Conduct workplace investigations, ensure wage/hour compliance, and advise leaders on employee relations matters. Maintain accurate colleague data in Workday, support audits, and uphold data integrity and confidentiality. Requires collaboration with leadership to improve engagement, retention, and HR outcomes in a 100% onsite warehouse/manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university with 7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HR Certification (PHR/SPHR) is highly desired
- strong background in employee relations in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
- investigation experience and excellent understanding of employment law
