Job Summary
Greet visitors and patients in person, handle confidential information appropriately, and prioritize by assessing needs to identify immediate emergency situations. Enter and update patient demographic and financial information, obtain applications and forms, and photocopy or scan documents as needed. Provide financial responsibility information, collect patient liabilities, and balance the cash box daily. Work with partnering departments to ensure all aspects of the patient's encounter are completed, provide wayfinding instructions, and meet audit accuracy standards. Perform complex patient scheduling and resolve error reports timely. This role requires Monday through Friday hours from 9:30am to 5:00pm, with one weekend day every eighth week.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of customer service experience in an office setting or professional work environment
- 1+ years of scheduling experience
- Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work Monday - Friday from 9:30am - 5:00pm
- Ability to 1 weekend day, every 8th week
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
